Abstract:

A common method for Controlling a group of parallel converters in decentralized Control strategy structure in an island microgrid, the use is the droop-down characteristics of frequency ω-P and voltage E-Q. However, the problem with using this method is that the reactive power is not properly distributed (in proportion to the capacity of the micronutrients) between the micronutrients, which may lead to overload in the converters. Microgrids may also suffer from dynamic stability problems such as power fluctuations, which can be increased by switching between active and reactive power Control. To avoid this problem, the X / R ratio of transmission lines is an important parameter that should be carefully considered in the design of micronutrient Controllers. By linearizing and simplifying conditions, the Control system conversion function model becomes a single input-single output system, which is efficient enough to show the relationship between Control parameters such as slope of droop characteristics and derivative sentences, virtual impedance, and voltage Controllers. Using this model, stability conditions for different parameters are analyzed. Also, to improve power distribution stability, common droop strategies are modified by adjusting the slope as well as adding nonlinear sentence sections. This approach reduces the coupling between active and reactive power Control and reduces the dependence of power distribution on grid parameters such as the X / R ratio. To evaluate the reliability of the proposed model, the simulation results in a sample island microgrid in MATLAB software are presented.

INTRODUCTION: CHRONIC Pain IS VERY DISABLING CONDITION IN SOCIETY WHICH CREATES COMPLEX BIOPSYCHOSOCIAL SEQUELAE. TRADITIONALLY, Pain MANAGEMENT IS BASED MAINLY ON PHARMACOTHERAPY WHICH HAS MANY LIMITATIONS. PHARMACOTHERAPY ALONE OR ANY OTHER UNIMODAL APPROACH USUALLY CAN'T SOLVE ALL PATIENTS' PROBLEMS…

Abstract:

Pain is an unpleasant experience that results from physical and psychological responses to injury. Since, the main goal of treatment is to Control Pain, finding safe, easy, and inexpensive methods for Pain Control is still a necessity. Aromatherapy has long been used to relieve Pain and treatment of various diseases. Lavender is one of the most famous plants in aromatherapy that has importance and particular value in relieving Pain and treatment of different diseases and has many applications in clinical practice. The use of Lavender as an alternative method of treatment decreases the need to chemical drugs in some of the physical and psychological problems. A review of literature on the analgesic effects of Lavender showed different effects and results. So, the need to further studies is tangible. Due to the necessity, this review study was done with aim to evaluate Pain Control with essential oil of Lavender. We reviewed articles indexed in the Medline, Pubmed, Scopus, Google scholar databases, between 2004 and 2015. The search was conducted by using key words: Pain, Pain Control, aromatherapy and Lavender and relevant articles were extracted. Finally, 36 articles were studied. The results showed that the effects of Lavender in the management of acute and chronic Pain, cancer Pain and etc. mainly depend on the nature of Pain and the method of administration. But in the most cases, Lavender has analgesic effects. Based on these findings, it is recommended further studies to prove it in various clinical situations and to determine the amount of required lavender.

Abstract:

We are writing to express my appreciation for the insightful article on Pain management in trauma patients and its critical role in improving patient outcomes. The current protocol utilizing acetaminophen and opiate agents has proven to be significantly effective. However, Recent studies have indicated that the combination of acetaminophen and NSAIDs can provide superior analgesic effects compared to either agent alone, potentially surpassing the effect of opioids The current protocol utilizing acetaminophen and opiate agents has proven to be significantly effective. However, Recent studies have indicated that the combination of acetaminophen and NSAIDs can provide superior analgesic effects compared to either agent alone, potentially surpassing the effect of opioids. Integrating NSAIDs into the Pain management protocol could offer several benefits, including enhanced Pain Relief (3) and Reduced Opioid Consumption. we believe that incorporating acetaminophen plus NSAIDs into the existing Pain management algorithm could be a valuable step towards optimizing care for trauma patients. Enclosed is a revised proposed algorithm based on your previously published protocol for the management of acute Pain in trauma patients.

Abstract:

Introduction: Cesarean section is a common surgical surgery in women, and post-cesarean Pain and stress are the problems which are faced by young women keen to care of their newborns. Post-operative Pain management reduces patient's discomfort, enables quicker walking, reduces hospital stay, and increases patient's satisfaction. This study was performed with aim to determine the effect of massage on post-cesarean Pain. Methods: This single-blind clinical trial was conducted on 156 primiparous women referred to Amol Emam Ali hospital for elective cesarean section from 2014 to 2015. The samples were randomly divided into three groups including hands and foot massage, foot massage, and Control groups (n=52 in each group). The, four hours after receiving analgesics, patients' Pain intensity and vital signs were measured before, immediately after, and 90 minutes after the massage. Data were analyzed using SPSS software (version 22) and STATA software (version 12). P<0.05 was considered significant. Results: A significant reduction was observed in Pain intensity immediately and 90 minutes after massage in intervention groups (P<0.001), but the difference between two intervention groups was not statistically significant (P=0.98). Moreover, changes in physiological parameters (blood pressure and respiration) were also significant after massage (P<0.001). However, changes in pulse rate were not significant. Also, a significant reduction in level of anxiety was observed after massage (P<0.001).Conclusion: Massage of hands and feet as an effective intervention with no nursing side-effect can be helpful in care and Control of postoperative Pain in patients.
